Capabilities

Any expensive decision.
Not just technology.

Decision Assurance is defined by the size of the decision, not the type of solution. The gates work the same whether the answer is a platform, a provider, an operating model or stopping altogether.

Where the method applies

Decisions we assure.

The Decision Review tests any decision where serious money, time or credibility is committed. These are the decisions we know from the inside.

Technology and platform investment

Should we commit to this platform, product or program, and what would make it safe to proceed?

AI adoption

Where does AI genuinely earn its cost, and what governance keeps it defensible to a board?

Build, buy, change, replace or stop

The five honest answers to any solution decision, tested on evidence rather than preference.

Vendor selection and outsourcing

Which provider, on what commercial and governance model, against which written acceptance criteria?

Transformation and operating model change

Is the case for change proven, and is the organisation designed to realise it?

Capital and program investment

Does the business case survive challenge before the capital is committed, not after?

Cyber, risk and compliance investment

What exposure is real, what control is proportional and what evidence will an auditor accept?

Turnaround, divestment and stop decisions

When continuing is the expensive choice: what to fix, what to sell and what to stop.

When the answer is action

Two honest delivery lanes.

Assurance is solution-agnostic. Delivery is not, and we are precise about the difference.

Lane one

What we deliver ourselves

Technology is our own delivery craft: software and digital products, AI and automation, systems integration, cloud, data and analytics, cyber architecture and control design, and compliance evidence for frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 and the Essential Eight.

Lane two

What we steward

Everything else the recommendation may require, delivered by specialist providers under SafeSpace governance: vendor selection, gate discipline, acceptance testing and benefits checkpoints. The provider stays accountable for its output. We stay accountable for the decision holding.

How capability fits the model

SafeSpace may be highly capable of delivering a solution and still recommend that an incumbent vendor, commercial platform or different provider is the better answer. Capability makes the design practical. It does not predetermine the recommendation.

Examples of the work

SituationPossible intervention
A new AI or digital product is being consideredProve the customer problem, design the product and commercial model, architect the platform, govern AI risk and deliver the MVP.
Enterprise systems do not work togetherDesign the target architecture, integration model, data flows, roadmap and delivery governance.
Cyber or compliance obligations are unclearAssess the actual exposure, design proportional controls and build the evidence required for ISO 27001, SOC 2 or another agreed framework.
An operating model or outsourcing change is proposedProve the case for change, design the target model and commercial structure, and steward the transition against benefits checkpoints.
A major vendor selection is underwayDefine requirements and acceptance criteria, evaluate options, design the commercial and governance model and steward implementation.
When SafeSpace is not the right delivery partner, we say so.
